You can also swing with your whip but this was more annoying than fun. I also quite like that you can’t whip in eight directions which made the use of special items more vital, albeit you can still whip upward diagonally and straight down. While this messed me up initially, I later got the hang of it. What took the longest to get used to, ironically the same as Super CV4, was that the item button was separate from the attack button. I think this also gives the gameplay a bit of fluidity. Gameplay: 3½/5 – Very fluid and I actually like that your whip also destroys enemies and items behind you.
